How do you feel called to reach out to address the emerging needs of your community or constituency?

Our Presbytery serves 34 churches in both urban and suburban settings. We are one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse presbyteries in the Presbyterian Church, USA (PCUSA). This organization has recently undergone a completely new organization restructure. The change was done to make us more responsive to the needs of our constituency and the communities we serve.

The changes will enable us to better align our resources to meet the emerging needs of our community. Hunger is an issue in the geographical area our Presbytery serves. Now our ministries to feed the hungry can be brought forth by not only congregations but by individuals from different congregations who can work together to fulfill a need.
