What is the congregation’s or organization’s vision for ministry? Additionally describe how this vision is lived out.
OUR VISION IS TO BE A WITNESSING, GIVING, AND A TEACHING CHURCH.

The Hebron Zion family is a welcoming congregation that accepts and loves those on the path of Christian faith and want to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We strengthen our members through meaningful worship services, Sunday school for all ages, youth ministries, adult Bible studies, a Men’s group, P.W. Circle, several small groups built around interest, chancel, men, young adults and youth choirs.

Hebron Zion has reached outside the walls through local, national, and international missions. We are united in caring for one another and serving our community through these ministries:
         The Senior Outreach Program meets every Wednesday and takes a sabbatical from June to September after Labor Day. There are approximately 40 seniors attending every Wednesday for fellowship, praying and Bible study along with a meal that is provided.  All Seniors are welcome.
         The Food Pantry Ministry has fed approximately 3500 families in need of service since being established ten years ago.  Patrons are allowed to come every sixty-one days with pertinent ID to complete an application in order to receive assistance.
         The Hands of Christ provides school supplies and uniforms to elementary and middle school students at the beginning of the school term from our location at the designated time. We are in partnership with our sister church Westminster Presbyterian.

How do you feel called to reach out to address the emerging needs of your community or constituency?
Our doors are always open to receive anyone in need of assistance. We have members that are caring and giving of their time so that the needs of the communities are met. While our congregation is moving in the right direction, our area is getting more diversified and many are unable to live and meet their needs, so Hebron Zion will be there to do what thus said the Lord. We would like to be accessible so that all will know the love of Jesus and seek to be in loving relationship with him.

Hebron Zion would address the needs of the communities by implementing the following:

         Job Training information for the unemployed, veterans, college students and etc.
         Aging population, meals on wheels provided one day or night per week
         Workshops with speakers addressing heirs’ property, probate court
         Health screening concerns about blood pressure, diabetes, and healthy lifestyle
         Bilingual language
We aspire to encourage interaction and cooperation with people of all races, ages, economic status, lifestyles, and beliefs to serve the lost, the least, and the last in our community.

How will this position help you to reach your vision and mission goals?
The Pastor will help the congregation reach our goal through continued education, planning and implementing new programs among members. He/she will help Hebron Zion carry out its mission and vision, by clearly communicating well-reasoned strategies, identifying common goals, and encouraging cooperation.
